This September 7, numerous activities including Horace Hawks Volleyball, Horace Forensics, West Fargo Horace Hawks Football, Horace Student Council, Horace Softball, Horace Cheer, and Horace Dance Team received 500 dollars from the Booster Club! To receive this gracious donation, each activity participated in Horace’s Bean Days Parade. All activities had bodacious floats representing their team like a dog dressed as a lion for the Forensics Lions Club or a big volleyball net for the Horace Hawks Volleyball. Everyone’s spirits were certainly boosted by the Booster Club for their generous donation.
Although the Bean Days Parade was the star of the show, Horace had a packed schedule. September 6 and 7 consisted of a pickleball showdown, shows with cute canines, and vendors galore. Artists such as 8th Hour and Slamabama performed in different areas around Horace, wowing the community with their music. If that wasn’t enough to get you to come out next year, vintage cars were shown off to compete for prizes like Mayor’s Choice.
Now, the kids would probably agree the best part was Kidfest. Inflatables, face painting, and snow cones. What more could you ask for? This year’s Bean Days topped years past and we can’t wait to see the community come together again and again!
