After you watched It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown for Halloween, I know you’ve been dying to see Linus and Pigpen in action once again. Well, you’re in luck! Horace High School’s theatre department is putting on a fun loving story with familiar stars, Trae Reardon as Charlie Brown, Emmaleigh Francis as Snoopy, and Reese Richard as Lucy.
The shows are as follows:
- Friday, November 22 at 7:30 pm
- Saturday, November 23 at 2:00 pm & 7:30 pm
- Sunday, November 24 at 2:00pm
The cast has been working tirelessly with director, Adam Pankow, to produce a fabulous show. The musical is based on Charles M. Schulz’s “Peanuts” comic strip, where beloved characters navigate everyday life. They sing and talk about their woes, exploring themes of friendship, self-doubt, and the simple joys of childhood, all while Charlie Brown grapples with his typical “losing streak” and quest for self-worth. The cast plays baseball, struggles with homework, and swoons over their crushes. A typical teenager’s life.
The entire cast invites you to one of their shows to uncover the amazing experiences of life in Minnesota with a sassy beagle. We here at Hawk Squawk will make sure to support our friends these next coming days!
