Horace High Homecoming is soon! Homecoming week is Monday September 25th, through Friday September 29th. It includes dress-up themes each day (check out the dress up week article for more information)! Wednesday, September 27 will hold Horace High Schools’ first Powder Puff game! Friday afternoon during school, Horace Student Council is holding a Pep-Rally to kick off the festivities. There will be cheers, games, prizes, and more! Following the Friday football game, Student Council is hosting a dance in the Horace High commons, from 8-11pm. This is a casual event. Tickets will be on sale during lunch, September 18-27.
This year, Horace is doing their first ever homecoming royalty! The preliminary stages of voting was Tuesday, September 19, for the seniors. The other grades will be voting at a later date for homecoming king and queen. The coronation will be held on Monday, September 25 at the Volleyball game against Oak Grove. Royalty will be reintroduced during the Pep-Rally Friday, September 29.
