The 2023 Girls Swimming and Diving has hit the wall and finished their 2023 season!
State swimming was this past weekend in Bismarck, and the Hawks made quite a splash! They had seven girls competing in swimming, and two competing in diving. The Hawks placed 12th overall, a four-place jump from their previous year, an impressive feat for a team in its third season.
The girls had quite the successful weekend, especially junior, Maddie Novak, and freshman, Jocelyn Wettlaufer. These two swimmers made finals in their events, with Jocelyn even making top eight in both her events! Way to go girls! On their relays the Hawks placed sixteenth in the medley, sixth in the two hundred free, and eighth in the four hundred free. Overall, the Hawks have had a very successful season, with a fifth-place finish at EDC and a twelfth-place finish at State. The Hawks have made quite the splash in the pool, many girls have made time and score improvements, and we can’t wait to watch them grow as a team next year!
