Congratulations to our fine arts student for October, Kacy Steinhouse! Every month a student invested in the various fine arts of Horace High School will be celebrated and recognized for their contributions. Kacy, a senior, participates in all theater productions, sinfonia orchestra, madrigal singers, concert choir, and numerous art classes. Kacy was also a part of Horace High School’s first production in the new theater last fall and our state championship one-act-play last spring. Her contribution to these programs is shown through her leadership and commitment as she brings life into these young programs.
Kacy shared that the recognition of fine arts student of the month is very validating to her and the programs she represents. Finally, Kacy leaves us with advice for those participating in fine arts, “Just keep going with it, there’ll be rough patches, but you just have to keep going.”
