It’s finally Hawktober, the spooky season is back! The pumpkins and skeleton decorations are out. Leaves are falling, and the temperature is dropping. Not only is Halloween going on during October, but also a few clubs at Horace are also planning to sell treats, including FCCLA and French Club.

When given a survey, our fellow Hawks were asked if they were dressing up and if they were, as what. Most of our Hawks are dressing up this year, with a few that still haven’t decided. The top costume was, Taylor Swift, including her different Eras, specifically the Lover Era. Many Hawks are planning to flock together and dress up as a group. We had Fred from the Scooby gang respond, telling us they are getting the gang back together to hunt some ghost. As well as Huey and Dewey from Duck Tales! Expect to see some ducks waddling around this Halloween.

FCCLA is having a Halloween bake sale which includes Halloween themed Oreo pops and brownies. They will be selling on October 30 and 31. It will be one dollar for three Oreo pops, and two dollars for a brownie! French club is also selling food, and treats. They are selling chocolates and other French treats during lunches on Wednesday. Please come support our Hawk clubs.
