The Horace Hawks 2023 football season has come to a historic end with a 6-5 winning record. The Hawks made it all the way to the semi-final playoff game and became the Cinderella Story of the 2A EDC conference. The blood and sweat that went into this season didn’t go unnoticed. With every win the Hawks shocked North Dakota as they solidified a spot in the playoffs after beating Watford City. The Hawks then fought their way to a win over Dickinson which got them a spot in the semifinals. Even with the loss to North, the Hawks played a historic season that brought them to the playoffs for the first time in program history. A big reason why the Hawks won was due to the seniors who now set the foundation of what it means to be a Hawk football player–thank you seniors for an amazing season.
